Born in the Philippines and raised on the island of Guam, Arnel has been creating art since he was 9 years old. He enjoys long walks in the park, sunsets, and the works of the Alphonse Mucha.

I absolutely love the work of Alphonse Mucha, look him up, you’ll be doing yourself a favor. So for my next comic book piece I really wanted to emulate that art nouveau sensibility. Up to this point I’ve been doing a lot of male characters exclusively from one comic book publsiher (Marvel). With this piece I wanted to deviate from that completely and try a female character from DC comics. Wonder Woman has always been one of DC’s main characters and I’ve always wanted to try my hand at drawing her. I started her off traditionally with pencil, scanned the pencils and painted it in Photoshop. All of the Art Nouveau design work was done in Illustrator.
